Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Operations & Technical Support
- Execute and monitor all quality control functions for raw materials, in-process checks, and final product inspections.
- Execute and maintain robust QC systems, SOPs, and quality KPIs.
- Provide continuous improvement initiatives using root cause analysis, or similar methodologies.
- Supervise laboratory operations, ensuring proper calibration, testing accuracy, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams to resolve quality issues and improve product standards.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for all SSTCM products to ensure consistency, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and routinely update ISO-related documentation, including but not limited to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process flows, tool certifications and calibrations, quality testing protocols, and reporting formats.
- Review, manage, and evaluate Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and other regulatory compliance documents for both incoming raw materials and finished goods.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
- Issue, update, and maintain all Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and other regulatory documentation to ensure compliance for both finished products and raw materials.
- Liaise with the compliance department regarding Document Change Notices (DCNs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and any other relevant documentation or corrective actions.
- Undertake additional tasks, assignments, or special projects as assigned by manager or executive management.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and mentor the Junior chemist and lab technician.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)
- Responsible to comply and co-operate on company HSSE instruction, rules, and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Engineering (Chemical) or related discipline.
- Candidate with minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field are preferable.
